Bucs Show Depth in Three-Match Tennis Stretch

Game 1: CBU vs AUM Warhawks (February 21, 2026)

Memphis, TN- Christian Brothers men's tennis battled Auburn Montgomery in a competitive matchup, with several Bucs delivering strong individual performances despite a narrow 4–2 team loss.

In singles, Tristian Kelly earned a key win at No. 3, defeating Guillermo Sanchez 7–5, 6–2 with steady baseline play. Ernesto Pico added another point for CBU with a strong comeback at No. 4 singles, bouncing back after dropping the first set to win 1–6, 6–1, 6–2.

Doubles play featured solid competition, highlighted by Pico and Miguel Perez Habib at No. 3 doubles, who secured a 6–4 victory. CBU showed flashes of depth and resilience throughout the lineup, gaining valuable experience against a strong AUM squad.

Game 2: CBU vs UOM

CBU men's tennis showed strong fight and depth against UOM, highlighted by multiple doubles and singles victories across the lineup.

In doubles, Benjamin Hanriot and Alexandre Randoux earned a 6–3 win at No. 1, while Pico and Perez Habib followed with a clutch 7–5 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Singles play was a major highlight for the Bucs. Tristian Kelly delivered a comeback three-set win at No. 3 singles, taking the match 3–6, 7–5, 6–3. Randoux also fought through a tight contest at No. 4 singles, winning 7–5, 7–6. Across the lineup, CBU players pushed several matches deep, showcasing competitive depth.

Game 3: CBU vs Millsaps College

CBU closed the stretch with a dominant performance against MC, highlighted by strong doubles and singles play across the lineup.

The Bucs swept doubles, with Pico and Perez Habib winning 6–2 at No. 1, Ebolum Nwokolo and Ot Diaz Colell taking a 6–2 win at No. 2, and Angel Zepeda Alvarado and Justin Martin securing a 6–4 victory at No. 3.

In singles, Benjamin Hanriot led the way with a convincing 6–1, 6–1 win at No. 1. Justin Martin followed with a straight-sets victory at No. 2, while Nwokolo dominated at No. 4 with a 6–1, 6–0 performance. Alvarado added another win at No. 5, showing composure in a tight second-set tiebreaker.

Overall, CBU demonstrated strong depth and momentum, with multiple players contributing across doubles and singles. The matches highlighted the Bucs' competitiveness and growth as they continue through the season.
