MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Christian Brothers University Cross Country is set for an exciting 2026 campaign as the Buccaneers announced a schedule highlighted by the program's first home invitational in years, giving CBU the opportunity to compete in front of its home crowd! The season features a competitive mix of regional meets that will prepare the Buccaneers for the Gulf South Conference and NCAA postseason.
Compared to last season, the 2026 schedule places an even greater emphasis on competing against top regional competition while adding a historic home event to the calendar. The inaugural CBU Invitational marks a major milestone for the program and showcases the continued growth of cross country at Christian Brothers University.
The Buccaneers return several key contributors from last year's squad, providing valuable experience as they look to climb the conference standings. Under the direction of Head Coach Bill Hoffman, CBU has built a tradition of excellence, producing numerous All-Gulf South Conference performers, NCAA national qualifiers, and USTFCCCA All-Academic honorees. Hoffman and the Buccaneers will look to continue that success throughout the 2026 season.
With a talented returning roster, a historic home meet, and another challenging schedule ahead, the Buccaneers are poised to make their mark this fall.
