Box Score MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Bucs outlasted Missouri-St. Louis 66-60 Friday night as they picked up their third straight win in a nip-and-tuck game at Canale Arena.

With the game tied at 58 with 2:49 remaining, senior guard Reggie Peyton (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) buried a three-pointer from the corner to break the game's ninth and final tie.

UMSL (6-4) forward Alex Jackson scored on the other end to cut the lead back to one point, and the Bucs bled 1:07 off the clock thanks to a critical Scott Dennis (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore HS) offensive rebound, setting up two Peyton free throws with 24 seconds to play.

The Bucs forced another missed shot, and Dennis grabbed another big rebound, then the Bucs stretched it out by making three of their last four free throws.

Nick Kohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) led the Bucs with 31 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks, while Peyton scored 15.  Dennis grabbed nine rebounds to go with five assists and three points.

Tim Green led the Tritons with 16 points, and Alex Jackson added 12.

The Bucs have two weeks off before returning to Canale Arena Saturday, Jan. 3, to host West Georgia at 2 p.m.
