MEMPHIS—Visiting Rhodes scored in six of seven innings as they rolled to a 19-3 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Tuesday afternoon at Buc Field.
The Lynx (12-6) scored a run in the first, two in the second, and three as they batted around in the third inning to take a commanding 6-0 lead. The Bucs (6-11) broke through to the scoreboard in the bottom of the third as
Matt Trouy (Millington, Tenn./Millington HS) singled and scored on a
Will Wilson (Cordova, Tenn./First Assembly Christian School) single.
The Lynx put it away in the fourth inning. After a line-out to lead off the inning, eight straight batters reached safely as they scored seven runs to take a 13-1 lead.

Will Britt (Oxford, Miss./Oxford HS) double allowed

After the Lynx scored two more in the top of the fifth, the Bucs scored their final run in the bottom of the sixth when
Alan Wright (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) hit a leadoff double and scored on a Britt single.
The Lynx set the final margin with an Austin Marcum grand slam to right-center in the seventh.
Britt went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Bucs' offense.
Weather permitting, the Bucs return to the field tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. as they visit Bethel.
