Wildcats Edge Lady Bucs in Double-OT

Kelsey LaBarreare took a team-high two shots in the Lady Bucs' 1-0 double-overtime loss at Bethel Saturday.
Box Score MCKENZIE, Tenn.—Host Bethel used a goal in the fourth minute of the second overtime to claim a 1-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Saturday afternoon in the Lady Bucs' final game of the season.

The Lady Bucs (6-10-1) controlled play for most of the first half, out-shooting the hosts 6-2 and putting three shots on target.  But Bethel (10-5) returned the favor the rest of the way, out-shooting them 4-1 in the second half, 2-1 in the first overtime, and 2-0 in the second overtime.  Bethel's Tori Barraco scored the golden goal unassisted in the 104th minute.

For the game, Bethel out-shot the Lady Bucs 10-8, with each team putting three shots on goal.  Freshman Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made two saves in her first appearance in goal for CBU.
