Box Score 2 MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Bucs and visiting William Woods split a doubleheader Sunday afternoon at Buc Field, with the Bucs winning 3-2 in the opener before the Owls won 5-3 in game two.

Jimmy Franklin (Knoxville, Tenn./Powell HS) RBI single.
The game remained in a 3-3 deadlock until the top of the sixth, when Owls designated hitter Brian Carr hit a two-out single and came home on a Jacob Harrison double. They added an insurance run in the top of the seventh when Damon Adrian reached on a two-out walk and came home on an error after Blake Wilson singled to right field. Hopkins hit a one-out single for the Bucs in the seventh, but a strikeout and a groundout ended the game.
