Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Second-seeded Alabama-Huntsville scored four runs in each of the first two innings as they won 16-0 to eliminate the Christian Brothers University Bucs from the Gulf South Conference Tournament.

The Chargers (36-14) scored four runs in the first inning on five singles and a hit batter. They turned three singles and two doubles into four more in the top of the second to extend their lead to 8-0.

UAH blew it open in the top of the fifth, scoring seven runs on seven singles and a double. They set the final margin in the top of the seventh when they scored one run on a walk and two singles.

Three UAH pitchers combined for a two-hit shutout, holding the Bucs to a Charles Kelly (Bartlett, Tenn./Bartlett HS) single in the second inning and a Caleb Goodwin (Shreveport, La./Evangel Christian Academy) double in the third inning.
