Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala.- Everything was clicking for the Christian Brothers University Bucs baseball team on Monday afternoon, hitting their way to a 11-1 victory against the University of Montevallo.

GAME CHANGER

• The Bucs' starter, Ryan Taylor, threw a complete game one run gem, while allowing only two hits and striking out five Montevallo batters.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Bucs outhit the Falcons 10-2.
• Montevallo committed three errors on the day, leading to three CBU runs.
• Six of the nine CBU starters tallied a hit, including three players with multi-hit games. Jaime Soto ended the game with three base knocks, while Travis Cole and Jared Cramer tacked on two hits apiece.
• Soto, Garett Reason-Kerkhoff, and Jeff Goodwin finished the contest with two RBIs each. Kyle Hindman and Cole each finished with one.

KEY PLAYS

• The Bucs wasted no time getting on the board as they strung together a pair of hits and capitalized off of a pair of Montevallo errors in the bottom of the first frame to take a 3-0 lead.
• Montevallo answered right back with a run of their own coming from a solo home run in the top of the second (3-1).
• A Hindman double down the left field line extended the Bucs lead to 4-1 in the bottom of the second inning.
• A Reason-Kerkhoff double and a Goodwin single pushed across four more runs to push their lead to seven runs (8-1).
• CBU tacked on some more hits and capitalized off of a few Montevallo miscues, in the bottom of the fourth inning, to finish the scoring in the game (11-1).
