BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Christian Brothers University guard Aiden Ruthsatz has been named Gulf South Conference Men's Basketball West Division Player of the Week. 

Ruthsatz earned the honor after averaging 15.5 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals to help the Bucs earn a win against Union. He also finished the week 8-of-15 from three point range

In the 69-66 win over Union (2.26) Ruthsatz hit a three point shot at the buzzer. The next morning, his heroics were featured on SportsCenter Top 10 Plays. 

Ruthsatz is the first CBU men's player to earn GSC Player of the Week honors since Adam Dieball during the 2018-19 season (2.5.19).
