BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Christian Brothers University baseball second baseman Royal Hobson has been named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference, as voted on by the league's coaches. Hobson becomes the first Buc to receive All-Conference honors since 2018. 

Hobson batted .333 on the season with seven home runs, seven doubles, and two triples. He also recorded 30 RBIs and stole 43 bases, which was the third most in NCAA Division II. 

The Nashville, Tenn. native had a 16 game hit streak from 2/9 - 3/10 and was the only Buc to start and play in all 45 games this season.
