Memphis, TN– Christian Brothers University men's soccer placed two Buccaneers on the 2026 Gulf South Conference Men's Soccer Preseason Team, as Daiki Ebihara and Olivier Van Der Tuin earned preseason recognition ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Ebihara, a junior midfielder, and van der Tuin, a graduate forward, were among 13 student-athletes selected to the preseason squad. The duo gives CBU representation in both the midfield and attacking positions entering the 2026 season.
The Buccaneers also received recognition in the 2026 GSC Men's Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, where CBU was selected to finish third in the conference with 77 points and one first-place vote.
AUM claimed the top spot with 94 points and four first-place votes, while Mississippi Christian followed with 90 points and six first-place votes. CBU was the only other program to receive a first-place vote.
