CLEVELAND, Miss.—The Christian Brothers University Bucs cruised to a 3-0 win at Delta State Saturday afternoon in a non-conference game.

Robert Mingo (Covington, La./St. Paul's HS) opened the scoring for the Bucs (4-5-1) in the 37th minute when he scored off a Patricio Gonzalez cross.  Andrew Ballard (Memphis, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) doubled the margin four minutes later when he scored, assisted by Clark Bradford (Blackburn, England/Ribblesdale HS) and David Skull (Adelaide, Australia/Woodcroft College).  Zach Tubinis (Memphis, Tenn./Houston HS) closed out the scoring with an 83rd-minute goal assisted by Ballard.

The Bucs out-shot the Statesmen (3-7-1) 17-9 for the game, including a 7-4 edge in shots on goal.  Harrison Cheatham (Franklin, Tenn./Centennial HS) made four saves as he picked up his first shutout of the season.

The Bucs play another nonconference game Tuesday night at 7 p.m. when they visit Union.
