Box Score JACKSON, Tenn.-Three different players scored to lead the Christian Brothers University Bucs to a 3-0 win at Union Friday night.

Jose Ferraz (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/) opened the scoring in the ninth minute, finding the lower right corner of the goal off a double-assist from Shaun Abbott (St. Helens, England/De la Salle HS) and Ralph Velasco (Rowlett, Texas/Rowlett HS).

Abbott opened the second half with a goal in the 53rd minute, finding the lower right corner on a shot from 20 yards out to give the Bucs (3-4, 2-3 GSC) a 2-0 edge. Matt Derise (Lafayette, La./St. Thomas More HS) set the final margin in the 72nd minute as he scored off a cross from Tony Aloia (Hallsville, Texas/Hallsville HS).

The Bucs out-shot Union (3-3-1, 1-3-1) 15-8, including a 7-3 edge in shots on goal. Britton McGuire (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School) made three saves to earn his first shutout of the season.

The Bucs come home Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. as they host Alabama-Huntsville.
