Donald Popp starred on the basketball court from 1974 to 1978, leading the Bucs to a then-school record 23 wins and the District Championship game as a junior. He was a two-time All-VSAC performer and was named All-District as a senior. Popp graduated second on the all-time scoring list and third on the all-time rebound list. His 1,583 points still rank 11th in scoring, and his 810 rebounds hold the No. 5 spot. He scored 20.6 points per game as a senior, which ranked fourth at the time and still ranks ninth.
