Christian Brothers University Athletics Hall of Fame
Lynda Simpson coached the volleyball and women's basketball teams from 1984 to 1989. In five years as the volleyball coach, she led the Lady Bucs to one VSAC championship, three TCAC Championships, four District Championships, and two NAIA Bi-District 24 Championships. A two-time conference coach of the year, she led the Lady Bucs to four 25-win seasons, including back-to-back 30-win records in her final two seasons. She also coached five years in basketball, where she led the Lady Bucs to 16 wins in 1985-86, the seventh-most in a season in school history. She ranks fourth on the school's career win list in both volleyball and basketball, with 136 wins in volleyball and 46 wins in basketball.
