Doug Schenkel was one of the first stars of the CBC soccer program, from 1989 to 1992.  In four years, he scored 60 goals with 48 assists in 70 games.  He is still the school's career leader in points and assists, and he ranks second in goals.  As a senior, he led the Bucs to the school’s first TCAC championship, the first of CBU’s now-five conference titles in men’s soccer.  His 63 points and 15 assists as a senior still rank second in school history, and his 24 goals rank third.  His marks of 20 goals and 49 points as a junior both rank fifth in school history.  After graduation, he played professional soccer for nine years, first in Germany and later in Nashville.
