The success of an athletics department requires many good people. All of you are familiar with most of them – good administrators, good coaches and good players. But it’s also important to have great people behind the scenes. Inez Scruggs was one of those people. She was the scorekeeper for CBU’s men’s basketball program from the early 1960’s until the late 1980’s. In addition to her work at CBU, she served on the board of directors for the Ave Maria home from 1984 until her death in 2006.
