James “Al” Cash starred in basketball at CBC from 1960 through 1965.  He graduated from CBC as the school’s second-leading scorer with 1,512 points, and he still ranks 12th in career scoring.  He also graduated as the second-leading rebounder, and his 784 career rebounds still rank seventh on the all-time list.  Cash was a two-time All-District performer who was named an All-American as a senior.
