Nikki Dunn (McNamara) starred in softball from 2006-09, where she was a four-time All-Gulf South Conference West Division selection for head coach Donna Crone. Dunn was the 2006 GSC West Freshman of the Year and the 2007 GSC West Co-Pitcher of the Year. The 2009 CBU graduate still holds CBU records in virtually every pitching category including wins (53), strikeouts (868), appearances (130), lowest ERA (2.26) and no-hitters (3).
Dunn also ranks third in GSC history in appearances, fourth in strikeouts and is tied for fourth in career-no hitters. The Southaven, Miss., native struck out 17 batters in a game three different times. That number is also tied for fourth in GSC single game history. Following her playing career, Dunn was named GSC West Second Team All-Decade.
