Tom Turner starred in baseball from 1977 to 1980. One of his career highlights came early in his freshman year, when he spun a four-hit shutout as CBU beat Notre Dame 8-0, the Bucs’ only win over Notre Dame in four tries. For his career, he went 23-20 with 29 complete games, three shutouts, and 253 strikeouts in 347 innings pitched. He holds school records for wins, complete games, and innings pitched, and he ranks second in strikeouts and games started.
